There's a straightforward difference between hot chocolate made from powder and hot chocolate made from real chocolate. Powder dissolves quickly and does the job. Real chocolate — particularly Belgian couverture with its higher cocoa butter content — melts into hot milk and produces something noticeably richer, smoother, and more satisfying.
Our hot chocolate swirls are made at our workshop in Coolquay, Co. Dublin, using Belgian chocolate. Each swirl is a pre-measured portion — stir it into 200–250ml of hot milk until melted, add marshmallows if you like, and it's ready in a couple of minutes. No measuring, no mess, no compromise on quality.
The dark chocolate swirls are made from 70.4% cocoa Belgian couverture and are vegan friendly — oat milk works particularly well if you're making a dairy-free version. All our hot chocolate products are made to gluten free recipes.
Our hot chocolate gift set makes a good gift for almost any occasion — Christmas, teacher gifts, thank you gifts, or a winter birthday. It travels well, keeps well, and needs no refrigeration. If you'd like to pair it with something personal, it works well alongside one of our personalised chocolate slabs.
