Every personalised chocolate slab from Chez Emily starts with Belgian couverture — the same professional-grade chocolate we've been using since Ferdinand and Helena founded the business in 1996. We make everything by hand at our workshop in Coolquay, Co. Dublin, which means each slab is finished individually, not stamped out by a machine.
Personalised chocolate works for almost any occasion — Father's Day, birthdays, Leaving Cert results, graduations, thank you gifts, new babies, or simply because someone deserves something with their name on it. A good personalised chocolate gift says you thought about the person. It also happens to taste considerably better than a card.
To place an order, add your message in the notes at checkout. We typically need 3–5 working days for personalised items — for busy periods like Christmas or Mother's Day, a week ahead is wise. If you have a specific delivery date in mind, add it to your order notes and we'll do our best to time it right.
Not sure what to write? Keep it simple. A name on its own is often enough. "Happy 40th, Sarah", "Well done Tom", "So proud of you" — short and specific almost always lands better than something long and elaborate.
